First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos led the opening of the Presidential Museum at the Mansion House in Baguio City on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

She also officially opened the Mansion House gates, symbolizing the public access to the Presidentโ€™s official residence in Baguio City.

The Presidential Museum showcases galleries dedicated to each of the countryโ€™s past presidents, highlighting their accomplishments. Visitors can explore historical timelines, artifacts, and memorabilia from their terms, offering an in-depth look into the Philippines’ presidential history.

In addition to the exhibits, the museum features the Presidentโ€™s Office, the Presidential Hall, and a gift shop.

The Mansion House, already a popular tourist destination known for its historical heritage and architecture, is expected to draw even more visitors with the addition of the Presidential Museum.

The museum is open to the public, including walk-ins, with no admission fee. However, those interested in visiting are encouraged to book through the museum’s website or social media pages.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, Education Secretary Sonny Angara, Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan, and National Artist Kidlat Tahimik. Other government officials, local artists, educators, cultural workers, and tourists visiting Baguio City were also present. – Philippine Information Agency
