No crime in 59 Cordillera municipalities from December 4 to 10 while thirty one arrested

As the result of the intensified anti-criminality campaign of PROCOR, 31 individuals wanted by the law were arrested in a weeklong manhunt operation conducted on December 4 to 10, 2022. 

Based on the records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), for the week, Baguio CPO once again recorded the highest number of arrests with thirteen (13) wanted persons arrested followed by Benguet PPO with seven (7) arrests, Kalinga PPO with six (6) arrests, Ifugao PPO with four (4) arrests, and Abra PPO with one (1) arrest.  

Highlighting the weeklong manhunt operation was the arrest of three individuals listed as Most Wanted Persons: two (2) at the Municipal level and one (1) at the City Level. 

Also, as the result of the intensified police presence and campaign against criminality, during the same period, 59 municipalities in the Cordillera Region and two police stations of the Baguio City Police Office recorded zero crime incidents. 

In Abra, 23 out of 27 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents while in Ifugao, 9 out of 11 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents. 

In Benguet, 7 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents while in Kalinga, 6 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents and 2 municipalities in Apayao recorded zero crime incidents. 

Meanwhile, the entire province of Mountain Province recorded zero crime incidents for the period. 

Further, Kennon Road Police Station (PS8) and Marcos Highway Police Station (PS10) recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City. (PROCOR-PIO)
