The city government of Baguio expresses its profound appreciation and acknowledgment to the Baguio Midland Courier as it treads the last chapter of its 77 years of fair, fearless, friendly, and free writing upholding the highest ethics of journalism and recognizing its role as the fourth estate of democracy in print media, earning the respect of fellow journalists and admiration of the people of Baguio city. Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and city council members awarded the framed copy of Resolution Numbered 430 (Series of 2024) during the Monday flag raising ceremony at the Baguio City Hall grounds.

PRIDE OF PLACE SPECIAL AWARD – Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and city council members congratulated the University of the Cordilleras Center for Creative Production, CCP Student Artists for winning the “Pride of Place Special Award” and emerging as a “Runner-up” during the Aliwan Fiesta 2024 held in Pasay City last June 29, 2024.
