A student arrested with 1M worth of Marijuana in Tabuk

Twenty-year old student Jeboy Amangan was arrested on a buy-bust operation in Sitio Paka, Agbannawag, Tabuk City while his companion identified as Abel Agaoy evaded arrest.

A student was arrested and is now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while a pursuit operation is ongoing against his companion after they sold illegal drugs on April 17, 2022

Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the arrested suspect was identified as Jeboy Amangan, 22 while his companion who evaded arrest was identified as Abel Agaoy.

The same report also revealed that joint operatives of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office, Regional PNP Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU), and PDEA-CAR conducted a buy-bust operation at Sitio Pakak, Brgy. Agbannawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga that resulted in the arrest of suspect “Jeboy”.

Seized during the operations are 10 bricks of dried marijuana leaves and stalks weighing more or less 10,000 grams with a standard drug price (SDP) of Php 1,200,000.00 and 50 grams of dried marijuana leaves and stalks found in a carton with an SDP of Php 6,000.00.

Markings and inventory of the pieces of evidence seized during the operation were conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspect and duly witnessed by Lailanie Balao-ing, Department of Justice (DOJ) representative; Kagawad Victor Fontanilla of Brgy. Agbannawag; and Ms. Leonora Lo-oy, media representative.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the custody of Kalinga PPO for documentation and proper disposition. (PROCOR-PIO)
